Journal liaison
This page describes how SIRiiM stays aligned with IJRM-SSS on education and announcements — without capturing journal editorial independence. The Journal Liaison Officer seat and advisor slots are VACANT.
Non-capture statement (required — place near top)
SIRiiM is the society/education program; IJRM-SSS (the Orange Journal) is the journal. Society seats do not control editorial appointments, peer review, or indexing claims.
Society ≠ editorial
| Lane | Owns |
|---|---|
| IJRM-SSS | Editorial board, EMS, peer review, indexing |
| SIRiiM | Society / education program under CureRays Institute (501(c)(3) program — not a separate legal society yet) |
| Journal Liaison | Education sessions + society↔journal announcements only |
| Editorial authority | Journal Ops / Clay Hess gates — never society officers |
Parent brand for society chrome: CureRays Institute (curerays.org). The clinic (curerays.com) is not the parent.
What this liaison may do
- Coordinate society education features with the journal’s education/calendar lane
- Share society meeting themes (speaker scaffolding stays roles-only until Clay clears names)
- Point members to IJRM submission only when Clay / Journal Ops say ready
- Seat a Journal Liaison Officer (OFF-10) + up to 1–2 education-feature advisors
- State SIRiiM–IJRM education affiliation without implying editorial capture
What this liaison must not do
- Appoint Editor-in-Chief or editorial-board roles via society votes
- Override peer review or EMS decisions
- Capture the IJRM editorial board through society governance
- Claim PubMed, Scopus, or any indexing status (including “pending”)
- Send independent-editor / reviewer / author invites (Journal Ops + Clay only)
- Imply the clinic is parent of the society or journal
- Promise outside outreach under the SIRiiM name without Clay clear
Seats (VACANT)
| Seat | Status |
|---|---|
| Journal Liaison Officer (OFF-10) | VACANT |
| Education-feature advisors (1–2) | VACANT |
How bots work with volunteers
Institute bots partner on ops, coordination, and drafts. Humans retain scientific and governance judgment. Outside sends remain Clay-cleared only.
