Scientific Program Committee
The Scientific Program Committee develops SIRiiM themes and session design as an Institute program. All listed seats are VACANT pending internal interest, Board slate review, and Clay Hess / Institute Board clearance. Speaker planning is roles-only until names are cleared; any abstract track remains HOLD until unlocked.
Mission
- Develop themes in radiation immunity, immuno-modulation, and translational methods.
- Advise the Meeting Planning Committee on future session design.
- Keep a future abstract process as a placeholder only until Clay unlocks it.
Seats (VACANT)
| Seat / workstream | Status |
|---|---|
| SCI Chair | VACANT |
| SCI Vice | VACANT |
| Radiation Immunity track | VACANT (2–3) |
| Immuno-Modulation track | VACANT (2–3) |
| Methods / Translational | VACANT (1–2) |
| Abstract operations | VACANT (1 placeholder; HOLD until unlock) |
Planning target: 8–10 seats. This is capacity planning, not a filled roster or public call.
How bots work with seated people
Institute bots work with each seated person on ops, coordination, drafts, and tracking; humans retain scientific and governance judgment. The default is a committee-level bot liaison. Personal bots require a named person and Clay Hess clearance. No PHI. Outside outreach remains HOLD until Clay clears a named recipient and message.
Interest (internal)
Use the internal volunteer interest form: /governance/volunteer
Submit interest (internal) — no public application or seating claim is implied.
Parent and guardrails
SIRiiM — International Society for Radiation Immunity and Immuno-Modulation, no Oxford comma — is an Institute program of the CureRays Innovation & Education Institute (501(c)(3)). Parent site: curerays.org. Clinic (curerays.com) is not the parent brand. SIRiiM makes no PubMed or Scopus claims. Awards remain HOLD.
