Membership Committee
The Membership Committee develops categories and engagement plans for SIRiiM as an Institute program. All seats are VACANT pending internal interest, Board slate review, and Clay Hess / Institute Board clearance. Live dues and billing are HOLD.
Mission
- Draft membership categories and benefits for Board / Clay review.
- Develop engagement and retention ideas without outside outreach.
- Coordinate a dues strawman with Finance Advisory and Institute Accounting.
- Keep public membership copy honest: no live rates, payment links, or billing promise until cleared.

How bots work with seated people
Institute bots work with each seated person on ops, coordination, drafts, and tracking; humans retain scientific and governance judgment. The default is a committee-level bot liaison. Personal bots require a named person and Clay Hess clearance. No PHI. Outside outreach remains HOLD until Clay clears a named recipient and message.
Interest (internal)
Use the internal volunteer interest form: /governance/volunteer
Submit interest (internal) — no public application or seating claim is implied.
Parent and guardrails
