International Journal of Radiation Medicine — Screening, Surveillance, Survivorship (IJRM-SSS), known as The Orange Journal.
Scope
IJRM-SSS publishes original research, systematic review, consensus statements, and commentary across radiation medicine, organized around three continuous phases of care:
- Screening — who should be imaged or tested, at what interval, with what risk model, and what the immune correlates of pre-clinical disease are.
- Surveillance — response assessment, minimal residual disease, longitudinal immune monitoring, and detection of treatment effect versus recurrence.
- Survivorship — late immune effects, second malignancy risk, cardiovascular and cognitive sequelae, and long-horizon patient-reported outcomes.

Free to read, in full, for everyone. No subscription, no per-article charge, no article processing charge. The journal is funded by licensing a structured machine-readable corpus, by philanthropy, and by consultancy work — not by readers or authors.
Open peer review
Reviews are signed, compensated, and published alongside the article. Authors retain copyright; the journal takes a licence to publish, not an assignment.
Editorial independence
The journal is owned by SIRiiM. Its Editor-in-Chief is appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the Publications Committee and holds full editorial independence. Neither the Society nor any sponsor influences decisions on individual manuscripts, and submissions from the Society's own leadership are handled externally.
